Shoulder Rehab – How to fix shoulder clicking, crunching, grinding, or catching
Do you ever experience any shoulder clicking, crunching, grinding or catching when you move or rotate your arms overhead? If yes, then this exercise is definitely for you!
Check out the video below for a quick, simple and effective exercise for both short term and long term results to help with relieving your shoulder clicking, crunching, grinding or catching whenever you put them overhead.
So don’t give up on those overhead lifts just yet! There is still life left in those shoulders if you give them the little bit of TLC they need!
These noises are caused by a spacing issue within your shoulder joint. Meaning that the head of the humerus is not aligned correctly within the joint. So the goal is to realign your humerus and have it sitting centrally – as it should be! Once we realign the head of the humerus within the shoulder you will find that more space has been created and as a result the arm will now move more freely and with less grinding, crunching, catching, etc than it did before.
Be sure to test this one out by moving and rotating your arms around taking note of any sounds or catching points prior to completing the exercise. Immediately after you run yourself through the drill rotate the arms around again in the same way you did before the drill and notice the difference.
Did you find there was less shoulder clicking, grinding, crunching or catching?
